September

During the transition from summer to autumn, berries take center stage. September is a good time to divide clumps of overgrown perennials and do lawn repairs.

August

August is usually a sparse month for blooms, but adequate rain kept the garden green this year. The lawn never turned yellow and continued to grow throughout the summer, and it seemed like every shrub and hedge needed lots of cutting back this month.
